All domestic mixed materials go in Grey bags, that well tied up go into the Green bin for Solid Waste (RSU). Food waste goes in COMPOSTABLE-BIODEGRADABLE bags, that well tied up go into the Brown bin for Food Waste (FORSU) with anti stray animals closing. Both bins have the barcode stuck on and should be placed on public street the evening before collection day. NB: to get rid of syringes, it is compulsory to put the cap on the needle and put into Grey bags to provide security to our workers. IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to put solid waste or food waste in the communal street litter bins. Anyone who violets this provision, may be sanctioned with a fine from 65 to 400 euro, in accordance with paragraph first of Article 11 of the City Police Regulation. 2022 NEWS: all citizens will be provided with an indoor ventilated bin of 10 litres for Organic Waste.

Families using nappies for ancient and disabled people will be supplied with Violet bags, that will be collected with SOLID WASTE and FOOD WASTE.

All glass, aluminium and steel containers of small and medium size should be put in the Blue bin provided, that has to be placed outside your property (on public street) before 7.00 am on the established collection day.

Newspapers and magazines, paper or cardboard containers/boxes of small size, as well as all Tetrapak items have to be pressed and tied up before you put them into small cardboard boxes, paper bags or into a plastic bin of maximum weight of 15 kilos, possibly of different colour than other bins provided.
